Described as a “first rate solicitor who always has her client’s best interests at the forefront of her mind”, Lina has practised family law exclusively since 2015, qualifying as a solicitor in 2018; she joined Dawson Cornwell in 2021. She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Child Abduction and Private Children Law.
She has experience dealing with all aspects of family law including injunction proceedings relating to domestic violence, FGM and forced marriages; civil and religious divorces and separations; nuptial and cohabitation agreements; and matrimonial finance disputes.
Lina specialises in international children law matters, including parental child abduction, relocation of children, disputes about child maintenance, and contact and residence disputes. Lina has a keen interest in domestic and cross border adoption and surrogacy.
She undertakes her own advocacy, particularly when urgent protective orders are required and in disputes regarding child contact and residence.
Lina is a member of Resolution, the Child Abduction Lawyers Association (CALA), the Westminster & Holborn Law Society, Young Legal Aid Lawyers and London Young Lawyers Group.
