Some personal questions

What is your opinion on the law / case law on child relocation in your country?
Because the courts dealing with child relocation have no special knowledge, or experience, usually we have more “technical” than “substantial” decisions.

When did you first handle a child abduction case?
Forty years ago for Greek case and 25 years ago for transnational case.

What would you like to say to judges who handle these cases?
It is more than necessary to have judges with special knowledge in order to have the capacity to deal with these cases. The problem is not personal but institutional.

What is your advice to parents dealing with international child abduction?
To try to find specialized counseling at any rate.

What is your advice for parents who are dealing with a case of child abduction?
To avoid criminal action, and to try to find amicable solutions.
